"We went out to celebrate a friend's birthday and we were arrested and tagged prostitutes" - Woman narrates on Twitter

A Nigerian woman has revealed that the police raids on clubs in Abuja has been going on for a while now and she's fallen victim before.

 

Miss Oluwasimbo Ogundipe tweeted this in reaction to the accusations of rape and extortion of women arrested by police during a raid in Abuja nightclubs. She said she once went to a club with friends to celebrate a birthday party but she was allegedly arrested and tagged a prostitute.

 

Meanwhile, She went on to call out the Nigerian police for their alleged actions and encouraged Nigerians to speak up and condemn these actions.
